Tri-Lakes Volunteer Fire Department is an all volunteer department east of Montana's capitol, Helena. The department has 5 stations, 13 apparatus, and 45 members. The department provides fire and basic medical services.
Tri-Lakes covers approximately 125 square miles of unincorporated rural area. The majority of the area is wildland urban interface.

Montana Mutual Aid

Eastgate VFD will host Montana Mutual Aid the first weekend in March and the first weekend in November each year.. Location: 3895 Buttercup, East Helena, MT 59635. “…a timely and measured response to a request for help.” For more information contact Ken Mergenthaler (406) 431-2450.
